Exterior Cool Wall Coating

How long has it been since you painted your home?

TEX•COTE® COOLWALL® systems offer homeowners one of today's most reliable and beautiful solutions to protecting their home's exterior. Not only is TEX•COTE® COOLWALL® 10 times thicker on average than ordinary paint, it also contains special reflective pigments - the same type of pigments used by the U.S. government to cool ships, and provide both reflectivity and reduced radar signature in Stealth bombers. Due to their ability to reflect light, these pigments can lower surface temperatures by as much as 40-degrees Fahrenheit*, when compared to traditional paints and coatings in many colors. Lower exterior temperatures can lead to lower interior temperatures. A study conducted by the U. S. Department of Energy's Oak Ridge National Laboratory showed that TEX•COTE® COOLWALL®coatings can reduce a home's cooling costs by as much as 21.9%*!

In addition to the energy savings, TEX•COTE® COOLWALL® features a full palette of beautiful colors to enhance any home style. Because COOLWALL® is sold and applied exclusively by TEX•COTE® dealers. Give our office a call to learn more or get available colors.

At Quest Construction we strictly adhere to the 10-step application set by TEX•COTE® of America. We never cut corners and offer a lifetime warranty.

Save energy with coolwall coating

Energy Saving

On a hot day, the sun can beat down on the walls of your home, and your home can absorb as much as 90% of the radiant energy (or heat)! Even white walls can absorb significant solar radiation. All that heat makes the inside of your home hot and uncomfortable. Running air conditioning to cool your home can be extremely expensive.

In fact, a central air conditioning system uses about 3500 watts, or 3.5kWh every hour. In some areas of the country, cooling even a moderate size house requires over 1500 hours of air conditioning operation a year. Now, COOLWALL® - an advanced exterior coating system - tested by the Department of Energy to lower surface temperatures* - can make your home more comfortable while reducing your use of air conditioning.
